  The first step in the application process is to call (02) 9796 3655 and make an appointment. Our head office in Bankstown has available parking and is also a short 10-minute walk from Bankstown Railway Station. When you make your appointment, you will be advised on what you need to bring with you. At this appointment, you will be required to undertake a preselection exercise based on year 10 level (approximately) reading, writing and mathematics with some automotive related questions. This will be followed by a formal interview with a Tradesperson. Please note: Since Automotive Group Training is required to have a Tradesperson present to interview you, please make sure that you are serious in wanting a career with AGT so as not to waste Automotive Group Training (NSW)'s time and resources. If your interview with AGT is successful (depending on position vacancies), you will then be sent to a workshop for a second interview with your potential host trainer. The workshop will make the final decision as to who will fill any vacant positions. Once your apprenticeship has been confirmed with the workshop, a date for your commencement will be arranged and paperwork will be completed by AGT.
