Automotive Group Training currently have an opportunity for a Warehousing Trainee to work with our partners located Ryde. We are looking for someone who will be dedicated to work full time in an awesome team and complete their studies. In this position the successful candidate will be responsible for all things stock control and warehousing and will also have the opportunity to complete some spare parts interpreter duties.

Role Description:
As a Warehousing Trainee you will be responsible for carrying out all daily warehousing functions in an efficient and effective manner. You will be accountable for carrying out warehousing and parts stock control functions under the direction of the Parts Manager. You will load and unload trucks, process and prepare orders, assist with stocktake and operate material handling equipment. Whilst gaining quality work experience you will be studying to complete a Certificate III in Warehousing Operations. 

Duties include:

• Customer service
• Pick - Packing
• Move, store, receive and dispatch goods correctly
• Warehouse equipment operations
• Stock control
• Understanding and complying with Work Health and Safety Procedures
• Effective record keeping
• Monitor storage facilities
• Apply quality systems
• General housekeeping of work areas
• Lifting freight/parts/spares
• Spare parts interpreter duties

 
Candidate Requirements:

• Must be Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident
• Current drivers licence and have own transport (Min P1)
• Eager to learn and able to take direction and feedback
• Positive attitude and self-motivated individual
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Excellent presentation
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
